Kazem Alinaghian is the co-founder of CRC, Computer Research Center, Inc. (www.crcsite.com). CRC is a computer systems integration company specializing in hardware, software, & Manged Services. Kazem, one of the Founders, has been an active member of NIPOC for 27 years, serving on Board of Directors as well Advisory board.
My name is Mitra Azar. I have obtained my Bachelor of Science in Management Science and Marketing from Chapman University. I have worked in management capacity for various International Luxury Retail Companies in the past 30 years.
I have been an active board member of the Orange County Festival of Mehregan Committee Since 1995. I was the coordinator of Mehregan 2011 and currently am the chairperson of the Cultural Society of NIPOC.
Growing up in Iran and celebrating Mehregan every year has helped me to understand the deeper reasons behind our ancient ceremonies. My goal is to help expand the Mehregan Festival and keep this rich part of our heritage alive; with this we may help the next generation connect to their roots with a greater sense of pride.
My name is Asal Namini. I've studied Finance and Economics and I work as the business development manager for a company in Irvine. I joined PerGen to help increase awareness of the Persian culture among the younger generation who grew up in the United States. I also want to help them achieve their goals by providing them with opportunities to learn from their peers. During this period, I have met many professionals in our community who have positively impacted me and I hope to meet many more as we build PerGen with your help and participation.
My name is Shirin Namini and I’m studying social media marketing at California state university of Long Beach. I'm fluent in Persian and English. I love to plan and organize events and I’m hoping this will be my future career. I decided to join PerGen in order to bring the young Persian generation together by holding cultural, educational, and sporting events.
Negeen is a UC Irvine student majoring in Political Science and plans to attend law school in the future. She is an intern at the United Nations Association of Orange County.
Dr. Farrokh Shokooh is the CEO and founder of Operation Technology, Inc. (www.etap.com). OTI, developer of ETAP, is a full spectrum analytical engineering firm specializing in the planning, design, analysis, operation, training, and computer simulation of power systems. The idea of celebration of Mehregan Festival in Orange County is attributed to him. Dr. Shokooh is also very active in Iranian-American community.
My name is Bahman Tavakoli the CEO and founder of IBS Electronics Group. (www.ibselectronics.com). IBS is in Distribution of Electronics components Worldwide with Five offices in Asia since 1980, is a full spectrum distribution firm specializing in the Distribution design, services to Asian Contract Manufacturers to sale American made components to Asia specially China. I coordinated Mehregan Festival for four years with help of my team those were most profitable years of Mehregan. I have been member of NIPOC since 1994 serve at various positions at NIPOC Board and Presently member of Advisors Board of NIPOC. I have been coordinator of NIPOC trade show in 2010 and also coordinator of Mehregan bazaar 2010 & 2011.Creator of Mehregan ICE Cream in 2010 to Benefit Mehregan Funds, I lunched Mehregan ICE cream in 2010 Mehregan Festival. Unfortunately because of a Year absence for overseas Business I was not able to lunch that at Stores or Supermarkets. One of My Goals is to Lunch Mehregan Ice Cream at Stores to Benefit NIPOC/Mehregan. My other Major Goal is to involve our young Iranian-American at NIPOC for Brighter Future of our Iranian community. and more active NIPOC.
